Secretary of Architecture Engineering, Christy Vidiyanti, ST, MT is evaluating the results of the UMB architecture engineering final project exhibition

The UMB Architecture Engineering study program held a five-day Final Assignment Exhibition from January 24 to January 28, 2020 in the Lobby of the Tower Building. The exhibition was divided into two sessions, namely designing the TOD (Transit Oriented Development) area in the Cipete and Cibubur areas. A total of 76 exhibitors are students of the final semester of Architecture Engineering whose later work will be presented during the final project session.

Secretary of Architecture Engineering, Christy Vidiyanti, ST, MT explained that this exhibition aims to measure the ability of students in designing macro scales. As for students themselves, they should be able to design an area based on integrated transportation facilities.

"Our students are asked to be able to design the area with hotel facilities, MICE, and other TOD facilities such as retail, coworking space and cultural centers," Christy explained at the event location, UMB campus, Jakarta, yesterday.

The best participant of the exhibition was won by Rivaldy Aditya. The concept taken by Rivaldy is Eco Friendly, environmentally friendly architecture that is applied in the Cibubur region.

Rivaldy Aditya and His Work Results

"Rivaldy's design can fulfill the aspects of function, aesthetics and feasibility built, and can apply the TOD concept well that takes into account the function of the building as a whole," Christy added.

According to Rivaldy, the mockup process took about 1 months and cost Rp. 1,000,000 using full PVC board material. "The obstacle that I feel at the beginning of the analysis really must be considered once because it involves the surrounding environment as well," concluded Rivaldy.
