The challenges of the nation will become increasingly difficult in the future. Technological advances that are developing rapidly precisely sharpen the level of competition. Nations that are left behind by their knowledge will be increasingly deteriorated and threatened to be ravaged. Lost in the international scene.

"The future of any nation is in the hands of the younger generation. So for this reason, I hope that the students present before this must strive to become a generation of solution providers, "stressed the UMB Rector, Prof. Dr. Ngadino Surip while attending the Opening Ceremony of Academic Year 2019/2020 at UMB campus, Jakarta, Thursday (August 29, 2019).

According to him the role of the young generation is very strategic for the sustainability of the nation and state. Weak young generation and not enough knowledge, will present a weak nation and a civilization left behind.

Therefore, according to the Chancellor, improving the quality of education for young people is important. These efforts are on the shoulders of universities. In order to be able to prepare curriculum, facilities and lecture models that encourage the improvement of the quality of the younger generation.

"It is hoped that through adequate education can present a generation of solution providers. A generation that is able to answer the challenges of its people, "said Prof. Ngadino Surip.

Generations who have adequate knowledge and have sufficient skills can enhance the nation's competitiveness. That means bringing the nation and country in a healthier dynamic. Can follow changes, even affect changes.

The opening of the 2019/2020 Academic Year Lecture was joined by thousands of new students. By presenting a number of important speakers, including the Commander of the Kodam Jaya and the Head of LLDIKTI region III Jakarta. This activity hopes to be able to hone students' knowledge and awareness of various national problems that need solutions.
